The Rain

Clouds gather,
Up in the sky
Grow heavy and darker,
Then break up into tiny
Droplets, showering the earth.
 
Storm water flows
Into drains and ground,
Recollecting into streams.
Thus rivers and lakes,
Seas and oceans are made.
 
When the sun shines,
Over the tress and shrubs,
Over the water bodies,
Evaporation takes place
And the droplets rise back unto the sky,
 
So if we need rain,
To water plants for our food,
We must protect the forests
The water bodies and the land,
We must conserve the environment.
